History suggests Musharraf is history

If the rumours are taken seriously, former President of Pakistan and retired general Pervez Musharraf will soon return home and rule the country again.

ISLAMABAD If the rumours are taken seriously, former President of Pakistan and retired general Pervez Musharraf will soon return home and rule the country again. Musharraf himself has sent feelers from England that he is planning to return to Pakistan to lead a new political party and ultimately regain power. But the political analysts here are firm in their opinion that Musharraf is history. This what the history suggests. However, most people living in and outside Pakistan are confused with Musharrafs repeated statements about his political plans. Knowledgeable Pakistanis did not believe Musharraf when he categorically said that he would never leave Pakistan to live in exile.

The way politics back home is taking shape, it's not too long when rear of the goods trucks will display musharraf's big portrait with a cry: "teri yaad aai teray jaaney kay baad".
