WASHINGTON It looks as President Barack Obama wants a swift action to break the back of warring Taliban before pulling

WASHINGTON It looks as President Barack Obama wants a swift action to break the back of warring Taliban before pulling out US troops from Afghanistan, according to political observers and analysts here.
Though Washingtons plan to hold negotiations with Taliban at this point is unlikely to materialize because of the arrest of their key leaders, including Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, US is hoping that NATOs latest thrust will wipe out the insurgents paving the way for peace and stability in the area. This will also give the US much needed facing saving before its troops pullout.
Obama administration has vowed to kill or seize Taliban and al-Qaida leaders in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Analysts here say that the arrest of one of the top Taliban leaders, Baradar may mark a turning point in the anti-terrorist operation in Afghanistan.
