About Canadian Asian News
Canadian Asian News was established in 1999 by a team of professional journalists. It started as a monthly with 24 black and white pages. Within two years, the paper made tremendous progress. It became biweekly with its pages increased to 32. Twenty five percent pages are now coloured. At the same time, Canadian Asian News extended network to Montreal where it has more than 50,000 readers. It has nearly 100,000 readers in Toronto and adjoining cities like Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Pickering etc. And when the paper went online, its readership increased manifold.
Led by Latafat Ali Siddiqui, who is also a correspondent of daily Dawn of Pakistan and Voice of America, Washington DC, the Canadian Asian News team has correspondents in many countries. The Montreal team is comprising Intizar Zaidi and Shabbir H. Lone who both are highly professional journalists.
In its Toronto office, the Canadian Asian News has the services of Dilnoor Panjwani, who is writing on youth affairs, Hassan Bozai, a senior most photographer, Saeed Ahmad, a brilliant graphic artist and Abdul Ghafoor Chaudhry, a dynamic marketing director.
Because of this team of outstanding individuals, the Canadian Asian News can be compared with any tabloid in North America.
